  • Our connector this Spring B term  is
  • 'Local V.I.P.'. 
  • During this connector we will be learning about the 

    history of the postal system, starting from 2000 years ago until the present day. We will be investigating the features and layout of letters as well as writing letters to a character featured in a ''Traditional Story''. We will also be printing and using patterns in Art. Why not dress up as a traditional story character for World Book Day on Thursday 1st March?




The children will be learning to measure length and height. They will also be counting in twos, fives and tens and learn about place value.





The children will be learning about everyday materials including wood, metal, plastic and paper. The children will also be science investigators.




Children will be learning how to use ICT to communicate using film.




This term we will be thinking about people who help, inspire and guide us. We will learning the story of the 'Good Samaritan' and how it guides people.



  • Read with your child regularly and discuss their books.
  • Read some traditional stories.
  • Talk about what they have learnt at school.
  • Practise counting forwards and backwards, counting in twos, fives and tens.
  • Practise measuring.
