Our topic is ‘All Living things’ where you will be learning about plants, animals and micro-organisms. You will know the processes of all living things focusing on MRS NERG. In lessons we will be doing activities such as dissecting flowers and learning technical vocabulary especially related to plants. We will be investigating the effect of yeast in bread with some fun experiments and investigations.
The focus this term is decimals, percentages and algebra.
You will learn how to multiply 1 digit numbers with up to 2 decimal places by whole numbers. You will also be learning to solve problems involving the calculations of percentages and will be able to record and use equivalence between simple fractions, decimals and percentages. Algebra will focus on finding missing numbers and using formula to generate linear sequences.
Reading records must be in school every day and you must keep up to date with your target.
