This week we will be flying through the air with our favourite snowman!
We will be exploring the story of 'The Snowman' by Raymond Briggs.
We will be exploring the idea of freezing and melting using frozen objects to demonstrate what happens to the snowman during the story.
Have you ever built a snowman? What could you use for his eyes? and nose? and mouth? How could we keep the snowman from getting cold?
To develop our awareness around our physical development we will be thinking about how we keep our own bodies warm during winter. What do we wear to keep our hands warm? what do we put on our heads? Would you wear some sandals during the winter time?
As we head towards the Christmas season, we will be making our Christmas cards, practising the formation of the letters within our name and continuing to practise towards our Christmas nativity show.
We will using snowmen masks to practise our taking away skills whilst singing the 5 little snowmen song.
****Please remember that we will be having a speech and language coffee morning on Tuesday 29th November for all parents who would like some support around their child's language development, and some very hands on practical ideas and strategies****
