Welcome back to school following a restful half term. The connector for this half term is 'Yummy in my tummy' and we will be kicking off with the cultural and yummy story of 'The runaway Chapati'.
A chapati, like a roti is a traditional bread cooked and eaten in many countries around our world.
We will be attempting to make, cook and eat our own roti's and find out what ingredients are needed to make them.
We will be thinking about the shape of the roti and other foods of similar shape.
We look forward to our talented parents helping us to make Roti's.
Below you will find a link to the 'runaway pancake' story that you can read with your child at home.
