This week we will be learning about the story 'The Tiger who came to tea'
Have we met a Tiger in any other stories before? Can you think of any stories that feature a tiger?
We will be thinking about the behaviour of the tiger and whether it was nice for him to eat up all of Sophie's foods and drink. During our PSED circle time session we will be thinking about sharing fairly and thinking about the word 'greedy'.
We will be using language to create lists of all the favourite foods that we like to eat at home and what we may have in our cupboards and fridges.
Time for talk:
Can you describe your favourite dish? what ingredients do you use to make it?
We will be using visual picture cues to learn the names of different types of food and vegetables.
We will be exploring the pattern on the tigers fur and using mark making tools to recreate the familiar pattern. Can you think about other animals that have stripes? What colour are the tigers stripes?
We will be making our own biscuits which we hope the tiger won't come and gobble up!
