We are looking for a caring, creative, and committed individual to join our afterschool team as the EYFS Afterschool Club Key Worker, supporting our youngest children in Reception and Nursery.
This is a unique opportunity to take a lead role in delivering high-quality wrap-around provision, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children at the end of their school day. The successful candidate will act as a designated key worker, supporting individual development and wellbeing, while building strong relationships with staff and families to ensure continuity of care.
You will be working in a play-based, child-led setting that aligns with the EYFS framework, and will be responsible for planning engaging activities, managing daily routines, and maintaining a warm and welcoming space.
Key Requirements:
Experience of working with young children, including providing personal care
A commitment to high-quality care and inclusive practice
Strong communication and organisational skills
A positive, patient and professional approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Paediatric First Aid certificate (Desirable)
Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework (Desirable)
Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract ending July 2026, Term time only, 3:30-6:00pm (Monday-Friday) 12.5 hours per week.
Salary Grade: SC5
