I hope you had a good half term.
I'd like to let you know about a new approach that Lordship Lane will be taking to home learning in years 1-6 starting next week. We are going to be using a website called Seesaw. If you are using a computer, you can access this at seesaw.me. If you are using a phone or a tablet, you will need to download the Seesaw Class app. Detailed instructions about how to log in, along with each child's login details, have been sent in the post today so you should receive them in the next couple of days. Because of this change, we will no longer be using the class pages to post work for children to do at home.
Seesaw will offer us the chance to make the home learning more interesting by including videos and links and teachers will be able to see and comment on the work that children do at home. Seesaw will also make it easier for us to communicate with our whole school community.
I really believe Seesaw is going to make home learning both more interesting and more effective - it'll be exciting to get started!
