Art and Design
Every Thursday at 8pm lots of people in the U.K. go outside and clap for NHS and key worker staff (such as teachers and school staff) who are working so hard during this challenging time. The rainbow has become a signal to say thanks to all the people for looking after us. Show me all the different ways you can make a rainbow. Painting, lego, chalk and cloth are some of the ways people have been making rainbows. Look below for inspiration.
Please take photographs of your work and share on our Yr1 blog.
Here are some examples to inspire you.
Multiplication and Division
This week we would like you to organise objects into equal groups. You could group your toys or food items such as dried pasta.
Try the activities below. You can also view the activities on a PDF file at the bottom of this webpage.
Click on the 2Dos button in Purple Mash from Monday 18th May for new multiplication activities called 'Musical Chairs' based on your 5 and 10 times tables.
Also look out for other activities to help with your 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
