Welcome to Year Two
Our school is now closed to most children. If you are worried about what is happening with the coronavirus, remember to speak to adults about it and remember that children are mostly less affected. This website has more information: https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51877454
Special Message from Miss Bell, Miss Chand and Ms Sharma:
Year 2, we hope that you are well and are staying safe. We continue to think about you all and look forward to seeing you again in time. Hopefully you have settled into your home learning routines and are making sure that your brains are getting extra 'juicy'! Each week we will continue to add new activities for you to complete.
Also, we would like to say a massive thank you to all the children and parents who have emailed us work already! We really do enjoy seeing all the effort that you are putting into your work. If you have not sent us a photo of your amazing work yet, please remember to do so and email it to our school (firstname.lastname@example.org). We can't wait to see it! Please have a look at the Home Learning Gallery below to see the work that some of your classmates have been doing.
It is very important that you keep learning while you are at home. You can find home learning resources towards the bottom of this page. If you are finding some of the work tricky, try the Step up to Year 2 activities. Make sure you read this page regularly as we will continue to add additional content we think you will like as and when we find it.
If you would like to do extra activities in addition to the home learning packs provided, BBC Bitesize are providing daily lessons for homeschooling in Maths and English for every year group, as well as regular lessons in Science, History, Geography and more.
Still want more?
Check out the rest of our webpage for extra activities.
