Lordship Lane Primary School

A Love of Learning and the Perseverance to Succeed

That Friday feeling!

Good morning everyone!

I hope you are all well and that you are adjusting to life at home.

I have been trying to keep track of all the amazing things that are now available for families to access at home. It really is wonderful how much is out there but it also may feel a little overwhelming right now.

To help sift though the information overload, I have put a few links below that I feel are great and I hope you find them useful at home.

BBC live lessons - A whole host of lessons for all areas of the curriculum!

BBC - Super Movers - Again a wide range of lessons that also incorporate lots of movement to keep us all active.

BBC Bitesize has lots of learning opportunities that you may find useful.

Please have a look at the resources available and use whatever you feel works for you and your family. We will all need time to adjust to our new routines and this may take some time. If you are not quite into the swing of it yet, please do not worry! We are all in this together and we will continue to support you from our end as much as we possibly can.

If all else fails, if you can read a story to your children, or listen to one of the online options together every day then that is a start. You can then start adding in other learning activities over time. Try acting out the story together after you have read it or talk about what your favourite part of the story was and why.

We all need to take this one day at a time and be kind to ourselves and others.

I am thinking of you all and very much and missing our Lordship Lane family.

Take care.

Mrs Wilding
